Austin D. serves as the Provisional Administrator at Westview of Indianola, where he is focused on enhancing the quality of life for residents and ensuring care is delivered with compassion and integrity. Under his leadership, the community achieved a deficiency-free survey during his first annual state survey, reflecting his commitment to accountability and excellence.

Austin is motivated by helping individuals find happiness wherever they are in life. Improving residents’ daily experiences is his top priority, and he finds purpose in building meaningful connections, seeing residents smile, and knowing their care is always the driving force behind every decision. He strives to be known as a leader who genuinely cares and consistently does what is right for residents. Austin’s healthcare background includes eight years as a Director of Rehabilitation, following his education in Physical Therapy. Seeking personal growth and a broader opportunity to create change, he transitioned into an Administrator role to apply his clinical and leadership experience in service of the Westview community.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys playing guitar and drums with friends and family, staying active in sports, and cheering on baseball – having played collegiately at Grand View University.
